Ayinger Brauweisse 50cl

Ayinger Bräuweisse is widely regarded as a benchmark Bavarian Hefeweizen, known for its extreme balance, creamy mouthfeel, and precise notes of banana and clove. It is a hazy, 5.1% ABV wheat beer produced in Aying, Germany.

 

Tasting Note.

Nose: Strongly aromatic with distinct banana, fruity yeast esters, and clove spiciness. Subtle herbal, vanilla, and citrus notes are also present.

Palate: A balanced blend of sweet wheat malt and fruity esters (banana) with a distinct clove finish. It is described as having a “tangy” malt profile that is lightly spiced with barely perceptible bitterness.

Flavour characteristics: Soft and creamy with high, champagne-like carbonation that leaves a refreshing finish.

Ayinger Urweisse 50cl

Ayinger Urweisse is a 5.8% ABV Bavarian dark wheat beer (Dunkelweizen) featuring a light copper-amber color, creamy head, and a naturally cloudy appearance

 

Tasting Note.

Nose: Ripe banana, clove, caramel, nutty notes, and light fruity esters.

Palate: A blend of malty sweetness, caramel, and complex clove/banana yeast character.

Flavour characteristics: Full-bodied and smooth with a firm, slightly bitter, and spicy finish.

Ayinger Urweisse 50cl

Ayinger Maibock is a 6.5%–7% ABV strong, golden-amber spring lager featuring a rich, bready malt backbone with notes of honey, caramel, and biscuit. It has a velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel, balanced by noble hop bitterness (herbal/floral) and a clean, slightly sweet-to-dry finish, often described as having scents of toasted grain and ripe pears.

 

Tasting Note.

Nose: Strong bready and doughy malt scents, complimented by light honey, caramel, and floral, slightly grassy German hops.

Palate: Lush, rich malty sweetness that includes notes of toasted bread, biscuit, and caramel, perfectly balanced with a gentle spiciness and herbal noble hop bitterness..

Flavour characteristics: Medium-to-full-bodied, rich, smooth, and velvety, with mild carbonation and a clean, warming finish.

Ayinger Bairisch Pils 33cl

Ayinger Bairisch Pils (5.3% ABV) is a brilliant, golden-yellow Bavarian pilsner featuring a bright, crackery malt base balanced by Hallertau hop aroma, citrus notes, and a clean, dry, and bitter finish. It offers a high-carbonation, crisp mouthfeel with herbal, grassy hop notes that make it a highly drinkable, refreshing, and quintessential German pilsner.


Tasting Note.

Nose: Fresh bready and crackery malt, floral hops, subtle citrus, and hints of lemon.

Palate: Soft malt sweetness on entry, transitioning to a clean bready taste. Notes of citrus and hay are accented by a prominent, firm herb/spiced noble hop bitterness..

Flavour characteristics: Dry, clean, and moderately bitter, with the bitterness lingering slightly, encouraging the next sip.

Cheerday Strong 8%

Cheerday Strong 8% ABV is a high-alcohol lager produced by Hangzhou Cheerday Brewery Co., Ltd., a major Chinese brewery based in Qiandao Lake. It is designed as a strong, export-oriented lager utilizing European malt and Qiandao Lake water.

 

Tasting Note.

Nose: Features a strong malt presence with noticeable sweet aromas. It often has a slight alcoholic sharpness, typical of high-ABV budget-friendly lagers.

Palate: The taste is heavy on malt sweetness and yeast. The 8% ABV is quite noticeable, giving it a warm, sharp finish.

Flavour characteristics: A slightly sweet, lingering warmth with minimal hop bitterness.

Cheerday Strong 12% 50cl

Based on products from Hangzhou Qiandaohu Beer Co., Ltd. (Cheerday Brewery), the “12% strong” refers to the Original Wort Gravity (12°P/12% ENS) rather than a 12% Alcohol By Volume (ABV).

Tasting Note.

Nose: A slight, sharp aroma (sometimes described as “skunky” due to green bottle packaging) that fades, revealing light malt notes.

Palate: Generally described as an empty, light, and watery beer. While classified as a “strong” beer in some Chinese markets due to its higher wort gravity (12°P), the flavor profile is subtle, often described as “water with bubbles”.

Flavour characteristics: Slight malt flavor with a very fast finish.
